PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform door device and a manufacturing method of the platform door device that support door parts to be movable by using column materials and a beam material, and that allow the door parts to be easily mounted and removed.SOLUTION: The platform door device 1 includes: tabular door parts 2 moving in a parallel direction and an in-plane direction relative to an installation plane; two column materials 6 arranged mutually in parallel and spaced apart from each other; a beam material 7 disposed orthogonal to the column materials 6 and connected to the two column materials 6; and a panel 5 disposed spaced apart from the door parts 2 at a position covering the column materials 6 and the beam material 7. On one side of a plane formed by the two column materials 6 and the beam material 7.
