PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identity confirmation system for determining correctly, whether or not, a measured person and a confirmed person are a same person.SOLUTION: An identity confirmation appliance 200 comprises: an identity confirmation processing part 220 for performing identity confirmation processing for specifying a confirmed person based on biological information of the confirmed person; and a first pulse wave acquisition part 230 for, when the identity confirmation processing is performed, acquiring first pulse wave information which indicates a pulse wave of the confirmed person. A blood pressure measurement device 300 comprises: a blood pressure measurement part 320 for measuring a measurement value related to blood pressure of a measured person; a data processing part 340 for controlling the blood pressure measurement part 320; and a second pulse wave acquisition part 330 for acquiring second pulse wave information which indicates pulse wave of the measured person.
