The invention relates to an upper cabinet having roller blinds guided in vertical guides, in which the weight of the roller blinds is completely or partially compensated via a prestressed spring. The upper cabinet is characterised in that the prestressed spring has a guide stop for the pulling strap and an attachment device for attaching the spring in the upper cabinet. The prestressed spring is attached via its attachment device, preferably on an intermediate shelf in the roller-blind cabinet.
