摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon nanotube or carbon nanofiber (CNT or CNF)-containing composite metallic material having excellent hardness, strength, electric conductivity and wear resistance by a simple process. <P>SOLUTION: Dimple-shaped or line-shaped grooves are made in the surface of a metal, CNTs or CNFs having a sheet shape or a paste shape or subjected to printing application are inserted into the surface thereof so as to be a sandwich shape, and heat and pressure are applied directly until before the compositional change of the CNTs or CNFs occurs.
