PURPOSE:To easily judge a present mode and to miniaturize a device by giving functions as an intermediate tray at the time of selecting a both-side copying mode and as a manual feeding tray at the time of selecting a manual feeding mode to a paper feeding tray. CONSTITUTION:The paper feeding tray 7 is attached to the side surface of a copying machine main body and can be turned between an erect position (folded position) and a separate position where it projects to the side and is opened at a specified angle to the side surface. At the time of selecting the both-side copying mode, a pickup roller 8 is separated from an ordinary paper feeding position and abuts on a follower roller 12 when a transfer paper is housed in the tray 7. Furthermore, the transfer paper which is inverted to be carried is interposed between the rollers 8 and 12 and carried to be housed in the tray 7. Namely, the tray 7 functions as the intermediate tray in the case of both-side copying at the erect position and as the manual feeding tray in the case of paper-feeding at the separate position. Therefore, a tray used only for both-copying mode is not needed and the paper feeding mode is discriminated at a glance. |
