PURPOSE: A structure of an infinite impulse response filter is provided to increase a speed of the filter by removing a limiting part that is a delay element while using a rounding function needed to minimize a quantization noise. CONSTITUTION: A round/limiting part limits a range of an input signal and a roundoff noise. An infinite impulse response filter has a critical path by two and more adders connected sequently through the round/limiting part. The first pipe line make a front stage of the filter pass to the adder. A round-flag setting part(10) is for a round flag setting. The second pipe line make the filter pass to the adder through a delay device(20). The first pipe line, the round-flag setting part(10) and the second pipe line are connected parallel with each other. Therefore the limiting part within the round/limiting part is removed which is a delay element. |
