COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING EXTRACT OF PANAX GINSENG C.A MEYER FOR PREVENTION OF SKIN AGING

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing an extract of Panax ginseng C.A Meyer for prevention of skin aging is provided. The Panax ginseng C.A Meyer extract has effects on proliferation of skin cell and facilitation of collagen biosynthesis, so that the skin aging can be effectively prevented. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for prevention of skin aging contains an extract of Panax ginseng C.A Meyer, wherein the amount of the Panax ginseng C.A Meyer extract contained is 10 superscript -8(0.00000001) to 10 wt.%; the Panax ginseng C.A Meyer extract is prepared by the steps of: extracting Panax ginseng C.A Meyer with ethanol; heat-extracting insoluble remnants of Panax ginseng C.A Meyer and filtering the extract; and adding ethanol into the filtered extract to obtain the precipitated ginseng polysaccharides.
