PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure and reduce the assembling man-hours for the control board that generates pulses to drive the panel composing a plasma display panel and make it possible to check the connection between the connector and the flexible printed wiring board even after attaching the control board. SOLUTION: This plasma display has a control board 412 to generate pulses to drive the discharge electrodes of the plasma display panel 100, a flexible printed wiring board 418 to supply the pulses generated by the control board 412 to the discharge electrodes of the plasma display panel 100, and a connector 416 disposed on the control board 412 to connect the wiring patterns on the control board 412 and the flexible printed wiring board 418. In the state connecting the wiring pattern of the flexible printed wiring board 418 to the connector 416, the terminals 543 of the connector 416 are arranged to be in contact with the wiring pattern of the flexible printed wiring board 418 at the side not facing the control board 412.
