摘要 FIELD: physics, testing. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to rocket and space technology testing and can be used for spacecraft (SC) body leak control and leak area detection in orbital SC compartments. This result is obtained due to that local leak of SC body is detected using the device containing fibrous detecting element applied as well to consider local leak to be detected. According to invention, the device containing fibrous detecting element, represents doubly grated hollow transparent cylinder accommodating fibrous detecting element. One grating is removable thus fixing detecting element and preventing sensor actuation in starting position of the device. Sensors are mounted on external cylinder of the device for recording repositioning of fibrous detecting elements relative to walls and gratings of the device. ^ EFFECT: simplification of SC body leak diagnostics, higher accuracy and time reduction for leak area detection. ^ 3 dwg
