The present invention relates to a device (1) for producing at least one hollow valve (2) for the replacement of gas and, more particularly, for the gas replacement of an internal combustion engine. The device: includes at least one valve holder (3) formed with a valve stem centering means (6), a valve receptacle (7), and a valve head holder (5), wherein the valve receptacle (7) is fixated by being inserted into a valve stem and the valve head holder (5) is fixated by being inserted into a valve head (4); has the valve holder (3) including a first carrier (8) arranged in the upper part by the valve stem centering means (6); includes at least one cathode holder (10) having a cathode (11) and arranged on a second carrier (9), wherein the cathode (11) can be inserted into a bore in the hollow valve (2) through the first carrier (8) by the valve stem centering means (6); and includes at least one contact plate (12) facing the valve head holder (5). |
