PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image file generation device which generates an image file such that when an information image is included in an object to be read such as a document, it is easy to access information added to the information image, an image reader and a control program for the image file generation device.SOLUTION: An image file generation device comprises: an image extraction part 33 which extracts image data of an information image from image data of a basic image when the image data of the basic image includes the image data of the information image, the basic image being obtained by scanning an object to be read, and predetermined information being added to the information image; an information acquisition part 34 which acquires the predetermined information added to the information image from the image data of the information image that the image extraction part 33 extracts; and an image file generation part 35 which generates one or a plurality of image files including the image data of the basic image and the predetermined information that the information acquisition part 34 acquires.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
