PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which prevents the generation of wobbling between an inner column and an outer column even if a fitment length between the inner column and the outer column is short, and can stably hold the inner column.SOLUTION: Small-diameter parts 55a, 55b are arranged at both ends of an axial direction (fore-and-aft direction) out of an internal peripheral face of a fitment holding portion 38b being a portion in which an inside diameter is expanded and contracted accompanied by an operation of an adjusting lever, and large-diameter parts 56 which are larger than both the small-diameter parts 55a, 55b in an inside diameter are arranged at an intermediate part of the axial direction, respectively. By diameter-contracting the fitment holding portion 38b by operating the adjusting lever, a rear-end external peripheral face of an inner column and both the small-diameter parts 55a, 55b are made to abut on each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18 |
