摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a data transmitting system to optically monitor temperatures at a plurality of spots inside a rotator without contact even when a rotary head and a stationary head are not located on a rotary axis or in the vicinity of the rotary axis. SOLUTION: In a non-facing installation type data transmitting system, a temperature sensor is inserted into a spindle 130 as a detection part to measure the temperature of the spindle 130. This measured temperature is optically transmitted from a rotary head 110 to a stationary head 120 without contact while using light and fetched into a personal computer 150. In this case, it is not necessary to install a light emitting element (such as LED) on the rotary head 110 on or closely to the center of the rotary axis. Besides, the stationary head 120 is not to be installed on or closely to the center of the rotary axis, either, and can be used only by being installed away from the system or hung on the wall or the like, for example. The power of the rotary head 110 can be supplied by a battery installed inside the rotary head 110 or can be supplied by a solar cell or the like.
