A frontloading washing machine is provided to pump up a greater amount of water than a conventional washing machine by installing lifts and water pockets in a rotating drum and on the outer surface of the rotating drum respectively. A frontloading washing machine comprises a water tub(11), a rotating drum(20), a plurality of lifts(30), and plural water pockets(40). The rotating drum is installed in the water tub, and has plural through holes(27). The lifts are installed in the rotating drum. The water pockets are installed on the outer surface of the rotating drum to pump up water from the water tub and fall the water into the rotating drum. |
