PURPOSE: A plug valve is provided to prevent lined a teflon from getting loose by forming numerous grooves for closely contacting the teflon with the inside of a body. CONSTITUTION: A flange(41) of a body(40) has a contraction preventing groove(50) filled with resin to endure pulling force out of the flange when a resin layer(42) lined to the inside of the body is contracted downward. A vertical contraction preventing groove(52) is formed in the flange to endure contraction force when the resin layer is contacted in the radial direction. A horizontal contraction preventing groove(51) is mounted near the vertical groove(52) to minimize the contraction of the resin layer inward the flange. Finally, a teflon is lined on the body of a plug valve.
