PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of performing linear type scanning or convex type scanning, and an ultrasonic diagnostic system provided with the ultrasonic probe. SOLUTION: A rod-shaped insertion part 12 which can be inserted to a subject is provided. The rod-shaped insertion part comprises a probe part 10 having a convex type probe 101 and a linear type probe 102 for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves, a bend part 11 for bendably supporting the probe part, and a base part 9 for holding the bend part, and is used by (a) bending the bend part and tightly contacting the linear type probe or (b) stretching the bend part and tightly contacting the convex type probe.
