DIGITAL BROADCAST REPRODUCING DEVICE, VIEWING HISTORY COLLECTION SYSTEM, AND VIEWING HISTORY COLLECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast reproducing device for digital broadcasting in which, when only a part of sections of contents are viewed utilizing segment metadata, the viewing is reflected on audience rating. SOLUTION: A digital broadcast reproducing device 105 has a configuration comprising: a content receiving unit 201 for receiving contents of digital broadcasting; a content storage unit 205 for storing contents; a content reproducing unit 202 for reproducing contents stored in the content storage unit 205 by utilizing the segment metadata; a reproduction segment information extracting unit 206 for extracting reproduction segment information indicating a reproduced segment when contents are reproduced by the content reproducing unit 202; a viewing history storage unit 207 which associates the reproduction segment information extracted by the reproduction segment information extracting unit 206 with content identification information of the reproduced contents and stores them as a viewing history; and a viewing history transmitting unit 208 which transmits the viewing history to a viewing history collection center.
