PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber molding material which has environmentally friendly characteristics and is used for rubber molded articles such as electric cable terminal portions and connection portions. SOLUTION: This rubber molding material comprising an ethylene-propylene rubber as a base rubber material and vulcanizing the rubber with an organic peroxide as a vulcanizing agent, is characterized in that a total sulfur content in the material by the addition of other additives is≤0.36 wt.%, or a total oil content is≤8.0 wt.%. The rubber molding material having the total content or the oil content can give rubber molded articles having acidity pH of≥4.3 and having environmentally friendly characteristics, such as electric cable terminal portions and connection portions.
