PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leakage of fluid from a discharge port. SOLUTION: In a solenoid valve 20, a spool 44 is disposed in an internal space 45 of a sleeve 41 so that the spool is movable in a sliding direction, and oil amounts of an input port 52, an output port 54, and a drain port 56 are adjusted along with the movement of the spool 44 in the sliding direction. When the spool 44 is moved in the sliding direction, a seal face 62a formed to the spool 44 and an abutment face 42a of a wall part 41a formed near the input port 52 are abutted with each other in their faces, so as to close the input port 52. A sliding clearance is generally formed between the spool 44 and the sleeve 41 to make working fluid flow through the clearance. In the present invention, the seal face 62a orthogonal to the sliding direction abuts on the wall part 41a of the input port 52, to prevent a flow of the working fluid from the intake port 52.
