PURPOSE: To prevent seizure of foreign substances by a method wherein speed and acceleration of a driving motor driving a window glass or the like of a motorcar are detected, and working of the driving motor is stopped quickly when acceleration is found to be below the standard acceleration. CONSTITUTION: Moving speed of an opening/shutting body is detected, and acceleration of the moving body is detected, on the basis of detection signals. Then, detection is made to determine whether the state of working of the driving motor 7 is in a transitive state or a regular state. When the acceleration is found in the transitive state to be below the standard acceleration on comparison with the standard acceleration set by a standard acceleration setting means 13, or found in the regular state to be below the standard acceleration in the regular state, working of the driving motor 7 is stopped. In the case where seizure of foreign substances is found, the driving motor 7 is driven reversely after being stopped temporarily. |
