PURPOSE: To miniaturize a projection optical device as compared with this kind of a conventional device, and to provide the device whose degree of freedom in screen arrangement is large at a low cost as the projection optical device capable of simultaneously projecting one object surface on plural different screens which are not on the same planar surface each other. CONSTITUTION: As to this projection optical device which simultaneously projects one object surface 12 on plural screens 3 and 4 which are not on the same planar surface each other; projection optical systems 1 and 2 respectively corresponding to respective screens which simultaneously project an image on the object surface 12 on plural screens 3 and 4 are provided, base lines 5 and 6 connecting the center 11 of the object surface and the centers 7 and 8 of image surfaces 70 and 80 on the screens 3 and 4 by means of projection optical systems 1 and 2 are not in parallel each other in the systems 1 and 2, the systems 1 and 2 do not share an optical element constituting the systems 1 and 2 each other, and are arranged in space on the same side with respect to the surface 12. |
