<p>PURPOSE: To provide such a production method of a color filter that a black matrix can be produced by laminating color pixels, the production process can be simplified, and a color filter having excellent heat resistance and a multicolored fine pattern of high accuracy can be uniformly formed on a substrate with good follow-up property for a photosensitive film and good workability. CONSTITUTION: A multicolored pattern is formed by repeating at least the following processes. (1) A photosensitive film comprising a base film 1 and a photosensitive resin layer 2 colored into one color is laminated on a transparent substrate 4 in such a manner that the colored photosensitive resin layer 2 faces the substrate 4 (2) The layer 2 is exposed according to a specified pattern and (3) developed. This method to produce a color filter further includes a process to laminate the photosensitive resin layer 2 of the second or succeeding color with the layer 2 facing the substrate 4 while a space 5 is formed in the pixels, and a process to transfer the photosensitive resin layer 2 of the second or succeeding color from the base film 1 to the space 5 in the pixels. Thus, a black matrix 9 is formed by laminating pixels of two or more colors.</p> |
