Car rear seat with child's seat

The backrest of the car rear seat is divided into a wide part (3a) and a narrow part (3b), with both parts foldable forwards. A child's backrest and seat (4) is located in a recessed backrest section (5) in the car centre region of the wide backrest part. The seat is swivelable in a lower region of the lower region of the recessed section. Portion (9) extends along an inner, set-back section (5) of the recessed section, forming the child's seat side wall. Along a second protrusion (10), in the middle of the narrow backrest section, is formed the other child's seat side wall. The seat can be stored between the two protrusion, when not used.
