PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent beverage containing a fatty acid sucrose ester. SOLUTION: This transparent beverage contains 1-1,000 ppm of a fatty acid sucrose ester and 1-1,000 ppm of a fatty acid polyglycerol ester in a weight ratio of 1/10-10/1. As the sucrose fatty acid sucrose ester, one containing >=85 wt.% of a monoester is used. As the fatty acid polyglycerol ester, one having 15-35% degree of esterification and containing >=40 wt.% of unsaturated fatty acid in the constituent fatty acid is used. |
