The monitoring of security systems has historically meant the monitoring of security alarm systems. Central Station operations consist of alarm receivers and automatio n software that allow the efficient and reliable processing signals from alarm panels over telephone lines. A new generation of alarm receivers has been developed that receive alarm signals over the Internet or other network circuits. This invention is a system of software that allows computer equipment to transmit signals over networks to Central Station alar m receivers.
