PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet metal traction device for an automobile body which is easy to use, having no fear of damaging a vehicle side, can exerts continuous and strong traction force of stepless to positively repair a body recessed damage portion, and has high safety. SOLUTION: A tire laying plate 2 to which a wheel W of an automobile to be repaired runs on and fixed onto the ground surface in a depressed manner is provided. A base frame 3 is installed in a state making a first end abut on a first edge of the tire laying plate. A stand frame 4 is raised at a second end portion of the base frame 3. The stand frame 4 is equipped with a screw feed type traction mechanism 7 so as to move in a vertical direction and a lateral direction. A traction chain S is coupled to a traction bolt 74 of the traction mechanism 7, and traction force is generated by rotations of the traction bolt 74. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
