PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology inhibiting damage of an air fuel ratio sensor due to being covered with water by inhibiting splash of water drops from a turbine housing during cold start in an internal combustion engine provided with a turbocharger and the air fuel ratio sensor provided in a downstream side of the turbocharger in an exhaust pipe and capable of detecting air fuel ratio under a heated condition. SOLUTION: This turbocharger is provided with a groove part 22b making water drops in exhaust gas pass therethrough with capturing the same by using centrifugal force on an outer circumference part of an inner wall of a scroll passage 22a of the turbocharger, and a water drop collecting part 22e collecting condensation water after engine stop and water drops captured by the groove part 22b is provided at a lowermost part of the scroll passage 22a. Accordingly, moisture in the scroll passage 22a can be drained to a drain pipe in a downstream side of the air fuel ratio sensor 5 from the water drop collection part 22e via a drain pipe provided with a drain valve 27.
