PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transceiver having a removable structure to improve practicality in removing a communication device from the optical transceiver, or a connection module.

SOLUTION: The connection module 1 includes a body 11 having a protrusion 132 and a transmitter, and a housing 15 including an aperture 150 for accepting the body 11. The body 11 is removably connected with the housing 15 via the transmitter.
