A radio communication device which communicates with a subordinate radio communication device, wherein the radio communication device is provided with a control unit which estimates a channel quality of a channel used to feed back a signal from the subordinate radio communication device, and carries out scheduling to allocate radio resources to the subordinate radio communication device, taking into account the estimated channel quality. The control unit determines, on the basis of the estimated channel quality, whether or not the subordinate radio communication device which has fed back the signal should be a target of spatial multiplexing communication, and if said radio communication device is to be a target of spatial multiplexing communication, the control unit carries out the scheduling in such a way that communication with the subordinate radio communication device is carried out using spatial multiplexing communication. |
