PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary valve capable of surely preventing the entry of powders into a gap between a rotor and a casing without increasing running cost.SOLUTION: A rotary valve 2 is configured by rotatably providing a rotor 5 in a casing 3 having a powder inlet 31 opened in an upper part. Below the rotor 5 in the casing 3, a pressure fed air inlet 6 is opened at the downstream position of the rotor 5 in a rotational direction, an air guide wall 8 is provided at a position facing the inlet 6, and a particle outlet 7 is provided at the outside position of the guide wall 8. The lower end part and both side end parts of the guide wall 8 are closed, and the upper end part thereof extends in the outer peripheral direction of the rotor 5 to be opened, and thus in a lower space 30B in the casing 3, a pressure fed air flow path S is formed to extend from the inlet 6 over the upper end part of the guide wall 8 to reach the outlet 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
