A pump, comprising:;an accommodating housing (20) which forms a cup-shaped accommodating space (25) comprising an end-facing wall (20c) and a circumferential wall (20d); and

a pump insert (1) which is arranged in the accommodating space (25), wherein the pump insert (1) comprises:
a rotor (4);a first housing part (2) and a second housing part (3), between which the rotor (4) is arranged such that it can be rotated about a rotational axis (R) and relative to the first and second housing part (2, 3); anda stroke ring (12) which surrounds the rotor (4) and is arranged between the first housing part (2) and the second housing part (3),

wherein a spring (5) which flexes along or in the direction of the rotational axis (R) is arranged between the accommodating housing (20) and the second housing part (3), wherein the spring (5) comprises a spring structure (5b) which is made of metal, in particular steel, and which imbues the spring (5) with its essential spring characteristics along or in the direction of the rotational axis (R), and wherein the spring (5) is supported towards the second housing part (3), substantially in a region which is arranged in axial alignment with the stroke ring (12) in the direction of the rotational axis (R), and thus presses the second housing part (3) against the stroke ring (12).

a rotor;a first housing part and a second housing part, between which the rotor is arranged such that it can be rotated about a rotational axis (R) and relative to the first and second housing part; anda stroke ring which surrounds the rotor and is arranged between the first housing part and the second housing part, wherein a spring which flexes along or in the direction of the rotational axis (R) is arranged between the accommodating housing and the second housing part, wherein the spring comprises a spring structure which is made of metal and which imbues the spring with its essential spring characteristics along or in the direction of the rotational axis (R), and wherein the spring is supported towards the second housing part, substantially in a region which is arranged in axial alignment with the stroke ring in the direction of the rotational axis (R), and thus presses the second housing part against the stroke ring.
