<p>PURPOSE:To provide the parallel image generator which eliminates the overhead of parallel processing, improves image generating capability in proportion to the number of parallel elements and can infinitely increase the number of parallel elements. CONSTITUTION:This device is composed of N pieces of shape data holding means 11 to hold data in a shape to be displayed in one image while dividing them, N pieces of image generating means 12 to output an attribute and depth from a view point in the unit of a picture element, and image synthesizing path 13 connecting N pieces of image synthesizing means 14 in the shape of columns and connecting an image display means 16 to the final step of the column, and the respective image synthesizing means 14 synthesizes the respectively generated images by comparing the depths of picture elements inputted from the image generating means 12, to which the means 14 are connected, and the image synthesizing means 14 in the front step, selecting the picture element much closer to the view point, and inputting it to the image synthesizing means 14 in the rear step.</p> |
