<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of necessary terminals and to easily change setting information by serializing the autonomous initialization input interface of control LSI. CONSTITUTION:Parallel digital data from a parallel data output means 109 is converted into serial data in the parallel/serial conversion means 108 of a shift register controlled by a start signal and a clock, both of which are outputted from a signal generation circuit 104 in LSI 101 being the object of initialization. Then, serial data is converted into parallel data in a serial/parallel conversion means 102 in LSI 101, is held in a holding register 103 and an initial value is set. With constitution where the setting input interface is made serial, the number of the terminals can be reduced into three terminals of the serial data input terminal 108, a clock output terminal 106 and a shift input/output instruction output terminal 107, and setting information can easily be changed.</p> |
