PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a moisture permeable waterproof nylon filament fabric having softness and bulkiness and excellent in moisture permeable waterproof by forming a moisture permeable waterproof resin coat on one side of a fabric woven using a heteroshrinkable combined filament yarn. SOLUTION: By commingling nylon 6 filaments with nylon 6-nylon 66 copolymer filaments when spinning by extruding 30-70 wt.% nylon 6 and 70-30 wt.% nylon 6-nylon 66 copolymer comprising 70-98 wt.% nylon 6 repeating unit and 30-2 wt.% nylon 66 repeating unit from separate nozzles in the same spinneret so as for the difference in a birefringence (Δ-n) between both filament yarns and a fineness ratio between their single filaments to be respectively <=10×10-3 and <=3.0, a heteroshrinkable combined filament yarn composed of a nylon 6 low shrinkage filaments and a nylon 6-nylon 66 copolymer high shrinkage filaments is obtained. By forming a moisture permeable waterproof resin coat, which is polyurethane-based, polytetrafluoroethylene-based or the like, on one side of a fabric woven using the heteroshrinkable combined filament yarn and, if necessary, by superimposing a coarsely knitted fabric on the coat surface to form a trilaminar structure, a moisture permeable waterproof nylon filament fabric having a waterproof pressure of >=0.2 kg/cm2 and a water vapor transmission rate of >=5,000 g/(m2.24 hr) is obtained. |
