摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restoring force mechanism to shorten the length of a coil spring, provide advantages on reduction of cost, and be also installed in a small installation space. SOLUTION: A base-isolated objet is supported in a base-isolated state on a support structure. A restoring force mechanism 18 comprises an arm 22; and a compression spring 24. One end of the arm 22 is coupled on a mounting plate 26, mounted on the upper surface of a support structure, rotatably in a horizontal plane centering around a support shaft 28. A long groove 2202 is formed in the other end of the arm 22 along the longitudinal direction of the arm 22 and a slider 30 protruding from the under surface of the base-isolated object is coupled to the long groove 2202. The compression coil spring 24 is disposed extending in a direction approximately orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the arm 22 on the two side parts in an oscillating direction of the arm 22 positioned closer to the support shaft 28. One end part is mounted on the arm 22 and the other end part mounted on the mounting plate 26.
