PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active matrix substrate comprising a peripheral circuit part constituted of TFTs wherein a current supplying amount per unit time is increased and capability is enhanced and a pixel part and to attain miniaturization and electric power saving of electronic equipment by using the active matrix substrate. SOLUTION: The active matrix substrate is constituted so that the pixel part having display pixels disposed in a matrix shape and the peripheral circuit part having a circuit for driving the pixel part are disposed on a substrate, wherein the peripheral circuit part is provided with an n-channel type TFT (thin film transistor) group and/or a p-channel type TFT group and at least either one of the n-channel type TFT group and the p-channel type TFT group is constituted of two or more same type TFTs having thresholds different from each other.
