<p>The unit (10) has two printing mechanisms (11, 12) with form cylinders (15), transfer cylinders (14), inking units (16) and dampening units (17). The transfer cylinders roll on one another under formation of a printing gap for a web-shaped substrate (13). One of the mechanisms is assigned to a main driving motor (18), which drives the form and transfer cylinders in a production run. Other mechanism that is not assigned to the main diving motor is assigned to a braking motor (20) that provides a defined tooth edge position for the form and transfer cylinders in the production run.</p> |
