LIQUID FOR HEAD, METHOD OF DETERMINING ITS COMPONENT CONTENT, AND METHOD OF STABILIZING COMPONENT RATIO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a nonvolatile solvent presents a greatly large mass change due to moisture absorption, and consequently a feeding amount varies in the case where the nonvolatile solvent such as glycerol is used as a liquid for heads to be supplied for efficiently removing an ink residue or the like adhered to a surface of the inkjet head where discharge openings for discharging ink that includes a color material are formed.

SOLUTION: The fact is found that a smaller mass change can be given by preliminarily mixing the water with the nonvolatile solvent than in the case when the moisture absorption is generated by a simple substance to the nonvolatile solvent. What is obtained by mixing the nonvolatile solvent and the water at a suitable predetermined ratio is used as the liquid for heads.
