A wall-flow distributor for an exchange column containing structured packing comprises a wall-flow collector (12) located above a layer of structured packing to collect at least a portion of the liquid descending on or near the column wall; transmission means (14) for transmitting at least a portion of the collected liquid collected by the wall-flow collector (12) toward the column longitudinal axis; and dispensing means (16) for dispensing collected liquid from the transmission means to the lower layer at a distance substantially spaced from said wall.
