The present invention proposes a method for monitoring an encoded traffic in a network device which minimizes a performance loss of the network device generated when an encoded packet is transmitted from a starting point to a destination; and the network device thereon. To this end, according to the present invention, the method for monitoring a traffic in the network device comprises the following steps: (a) when a packet is received, the network device i) stores the packet, and ii) inspects the packet after decoding the packet by referring an obtained key block; and (b) when an inspection result of the packet is detected to be determined as a normal state, the network device forwards the stored packet to the destination. |
