The invention relates to a device for opening and/or closing a wing of a door, window or similar. The inventive device has a more user-friendly moment curvature than conventional devices, due to a closing spring (8) which rests on a hydraulic piston (4) and on a separation piston (9). The hydraulic piston (4) which forms the boundary of a pressure chamber (13) has a smaller front surface (annular surface 12) than the separation piston (9), said separation piston (9) forming a moving boundary wall of a counter-reservoir (14). The pressure chamber (13) and counter reservoir (14) are interconnected by a hydraulic line (15). Just before closure is completed, the hydraulic line (15) is closed off by a piston edge (4b). At the same time, another piston edge (4b) opens up a connection between the pressure chamber and (13) and a pressureless chamber (10). This produces a device which initially requires a relatively high degree of opening force to open the wing but requires less opening force in the subsequent part of the opening operation. |
