PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to see the main portion of a moving image soon after selecting the portion on a map.SOLUTION: If a landmark is included in a displayed map range, positional information on the landmark is acquired. A route moving image (with positional information) within the displayed map range is analyzed and a portion in which an object as the landmark is imaged is extracted as the main portion of the moving image. An image of some frame is extracted as an index image from the main portion and the extracted index image is displayed at a corresponding position on a corresponding moving image route. Reproduction operation on the displayed index image causes the main portion of a corresponding moving image to be reproduced. |
