A cut-and-clinch device, wherein a movable part (122) can slide on a body part (120). A first insertion hole is formed in the body part (120), and a second insertion hole (136) is formed in a bend part (133) of the movable part (122) so as to overlap with the first insertion hole. Causing the movable part to slide once a lead has been inserted through the first insertion hole and the second insertion hole cuts the lead. In a cut-and-clinch device of such description, the bend part is symmetrically marked with a pair of recognition marks (210) so as to be centered on the second insertion hole. It is thereby possible to image the recognition marks, satisfactorily recognize the opening position of the second insertion hole on the basis of the imaged data, suitably insert the lead into the second insertion hole, and suitably cut the lead. |
