<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna impedance matching adjustment circuit in a compact radio for automatically matching impedance with an antenna when being connected to a cellular phone or the like and being used by itself. <P>SOLUTION: The compact radio 301 that can be connected to electronic equipment 401 comprises a nonvolatile memory 105 for storing adjustment data when being connected to specific electronic equipment and those in the case of only itself, a detection means 106 for detecting the connection of the compact radio to the specific electronic equipment, and an adjustment circuit 102 for performing impedance matching with the antenna by the adjustment data.
