METHOD OF UNDERWATER STARTING OF ROCKET ENGINE

摘要

FIELD: manufacture of rockets; launching rockets provided with pallet from water surface or from under water. SUBSTANCE: launching engine into water is effected at preliminary separation of pallet bottom at simultaneous start of gas generator on pallet bottom used for carrying away the pallet and forming gas chamber between tail section of rocket and bottom being removed. Starting of engine is effected at preset interval of time. EFFECT: reduction of impact wave loads on rocket in launching the engine into water.
