<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently remove a deficient part by providing a detecting means for detecting the state of a recording medium for reproducing to be loaded into a loading part and moving the loading part from an operating position to a loading/unloading position at the time of key operation when the recording medium for reproducing is under the infeasible state of its operation based on the key operation. CONSTITUTION:The reproducer is provided with detecting switches 101a-104a corresponding to a deck part 1A and also detecting switches 101b-103b corresponding to a deck part 1B. Then, in the case of the key operation for turning the tape deck parts 1A and 1B into the reproducing state, when a tape cassette is not loaded into a cassette box, the cassette box is moved from the operating position to the loading/unloading position. Then, when the tape cassette lacks a miserasure preventing claw, the cassette box is moved from the operating position to the loading/unloading position. By this method, the user can visually grasp the deficient part at once, and the deficient part efficiently is removed.</p> |
