PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of function of a record head of which ejection chance is few. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet-recorder comprises a record means that that records by ejecting an ink on a record medium from a record head having a plurality of nozzles and a control means having a program of an operation of head aging whereby function of the ejection nozzle of which ejection chance is few is maintained. In the case where the recording is executed by a recording mode of limiting the ejection nozzles, the preliminary ejection is executed when the ejection nozzle that does not eject the ink is placed in opposition to a part (b) or a part (c) out of a recording guaranteed region not to a part (a) in the recording guaranteed region on the record medium, thereby maintaining the ejection function. |
