PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat resistant material containing AlN and/or AlON, capable of having both excellent heat impact resistance and corrosion resistance simultaneously and also inexpensive. SOLUTION: This heat resistant material is obtained by nitriding a formed material containing >=85wt.% aluminum dross powder at 550-2,000 deg.C. Thus, the heat resistant material containing >=90wt.% AlN or AlON, or both of them and having 3-35vol.% air bubble containing ratio, is obtained. |
