A drier is provided to restrict temperature increase of a product by actively flowing air in spite of blocking a lint filter, and to improve reliability and performance of the drier by automatically increasing rpm of a blower fan. A drier includes a drum having a drying chamber, a lint filter(14) for filtrating foreign matters from air discharged from the drying chamber, a lint duct for moving air from the lint filter, a blower fan(120) communicated with the lint duct to flow air through the lint filter in the drying chamber by receiving driving force from a driving motor(110), a pressure sensor(130) for sensing pressure difference of the lint filter, and a control unit(140) for receiving signals from the pressure sensor and increasing rpm of the blower fan by controlling the driving motor in case of the pressure difference to be over the reference value. A display unit(150) displays an error message of the lint filter in case that the pressure difference is over the reference value, and an alarm unit(160) gives the alarm on the error of the lint filter in case that the pressure difference is over the reference value. |
