A METHOD OF SUBSTRATE WITH NANO-PARTICLE STRUCTURE TO ENHANCE THE SIGNAL OF SURFACE PLASMON RESONANCE AND SENSOR CHIP WITH THE SUBSTRATE

A method of preparing nano metal colloid substrate for a sensor chip by using surface plasmon resonance technique is provided to increase SPR(surface Plasmon resonance) sensitivity of a sensor chip by adsorbing nano-sized gold colloid to a support with a metal layer via an intermedium layer. A method of preparing nano metal colloid substrate(10) for a sensor chip by using surface plasmon resonance technique comprises the steps of: forming a metal layer(12) on a support(11) by depositing gold or silver; introducing an organic monomer with amine(-NH2) or thiol(-SH) group to form an intermedium layer(13); and dipping the support with the formed intermedium layer in metal colloid(14) solution to adsorb the metal colloid onto the organic monomer. A sensor chip for analysis of a material forms a receptor of the material to be analyzed on the nano metal colloid substrate. Further, a size of the colloid in the metal colloid solution is 20 to 40 nm.
